Returns, Exchanges & Store Credit Policy

We accept returns for store credit only or size exchanges within 30 days of the delivery date.
We do not offer refunds to the original payment method.
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, including any shipping fees, taxes, duties, customs fees, or other charges associated with the return.
Returned items must be in new, unworn condition. Any item that appears worn, used, washed, damaged, altered, or returned without required packaging may not be accepted.
A shipping recovery fee may apply in certain cases, including repeated returns, multiple size exchanges, or orders that received free shipping.

To start a return or exchange, use our Shopify returns portal or email caio@caiowear.com with your order number and indicate whether you are requesting a return or an exchange.
1. Return Eligibility
Items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for:
- Store credit
- Exchange
To be eligible, the item must:
- Be in new condition
- Be unworn and unwashed
- Include original packaging and tags, if applicable
- Not show signs of wear, use, damage, odor, washing, or alteration
Items that appear worn or used will not be accepted.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit:
- Clearance items
- Items marked Final Sale
- Washed, worn, or used items
- Items returned after 30 days from delivery
- Items without original packaging or tags, where applicable
- Items showing signs of odor, use, damage, or alteration
3. How to Start a Return or Exchange
To request a return or exchange, use our Shopify returns portal or email caio@caiowear.com.
If contacting us by email, please include:
- Your order number
- Whether you are requesting a return or an exchange
- The item, size, and color you wish to return or exchange
Please do not ship items back without first initiating the return or exchange through the Shopify returns portal or by email.
Once your request is reviewed and approved, you will receive instructions for returning your item.
Customers are responsible for all return-related costs, including return shipping, shipping fees, taxes, duties, customs fees, and any other charges associated with the return.
4. Store Credit
Approved returns are eligible for store credit only.
Store credit will be issued after the item is received and inspected.
We do not issue refunds to the original payment method.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
If an order received free shipping and is later returned, Caio Wear reserves the right to deduct the original outbound shipping cost from any store credit issued when appropriate.
5. Exchanges
Items may be exchanged within 30 days of delivery.
Customer is responsible for all return-related costs.
We do not cover return shipping, shipping fees, taxes, or duties.
For the first approved domestic size exchange, Caio Wear may cover the outbound shipping cost for the replacement item as a courtesy.
Additional exchanges, repeated size exchanges, or exchanges involving multiple sizes, colors, or variations may require the customer to pay outbound shipping before the replacement item is sent.
Exchanges are subject to product availability.
If the requested replacement is unavailable, store credit will be issued instead.
If you wish to exchange an item, please keep the item and original packaging until your exchange request has been approved.
6. Shipping Recovery Fee
We want customers to find the right fit and are happy to help with reasonable returns and exchanges.
However, because Caio Wear offers flat-rate shipping and free shipping options, repeated returns and multiple exchanges create additional shipping, handling, packaging, and processing costs.
Caio Wear reserves the right to apply a shipping recovery fee of up to $15 per returned item in the following situations:
- Multiple returns or exchanges from the same customer
- Repeated size or variation changes for the same or similar item
- Orders placed for multiple sizes, colors, or variations with the apparent intent of returning some or all items
- Returns or exchanges that require multiple outbound shipments
- Returns where the original order qualified for free shipping
This fee is intended to help offset shipping, handling, packaging, and processing costs.
Any applicable fee will be deducted from the store credit issued or may be invoiced before an exchange item is shipped.
Shipping recovery fees do not apply when the return or exchange is due to an error by Caio Wear, such as an incorrect item shipped, or a confirmed defective item.
7. Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery using our Shopify returns portal or by emailing caio@caiowear.com.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos of the item and packaging
If the issue is confirmed, we will provide the next steps.
If the issue was caused by Caio Wear, we will not charge a shipping recovery fee.
8. Return Shipping, Taxes & Duties
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs for approved returns and exchanges.
Customers are also responsible for any:
- Shipping fees
- Taxes
- Duties
- Customs fees
- Import fees
- Carrier charges
- Other costs associated with returning an item
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for lost return packages.
9. Processing Time
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you whether your return or exchange has been approved.
If approved:
- Store credit will be issued after inspection
- Exchanges will be processed based on stock availability
Please allow 1–3 business days after delivery of the return for processing.
